    1ghz should not be expected guys. I remember when the X1900XTX was due to be released it was rumoured that the core was brought to 1ghz. We all know when the card came out it could early 700's at most stable and clean.

    if everyone went with nda none of us would have known about conroe months earlier than release, its all getting a bit commercial, xtreme use to say hell to the wind, rebellious etc. now everyone is signing nda contracts , its a shame really i wish someone would post some reliable results anonymously

    Criticize NDAs all you want, but it's not as if there was some perfect pre-NDA world in which information flowed freely. The alternative is not having hardware samples to review until after launch. This way we get a lot of information from many different voices (most of them unbiased) at the moment a product launches.
