    Watercooled FX62 action!

I put my FX on water so I could play with some DDR2 and HTT clocks.

    Foxconn 590 mobo
    Corsair 6400C2,, 2Gigs
1x 7900GTX on air stock volts
    OCZ 700W PSU
    Swiftech APOGEE CPU waterblock

My FX runs good at around 3240MHz with 1.5V.
At first I ran the Corsair memory at 3-3-3-5 1T around 814MHz, I thought the results were pretty good. But then I switched over to 2T and ran the memory at 4-4-4-5 2T around 1080MHz. Much to my surprise the 1080MHz results were better even though it ran at 2T.

I have some benchmarks I’ll post up next.

Yes I like it very much, super stable and great overclocker for this Corsair, it's almost as if they made for each other.

One thing is you can only increase the HTT in 2 MHz increments. They need to fix that.

OMG so many holes in the Storm mounting plate and still no matching holes.

That bandwidth is awesome Opp, that SuperPi run is about the same as an FX 57 with BH-5 running 270 2-2-2-5.

Any plans on watercooling the NB/videocard?

I think it has more power then socket 939. This is pretty good 01 with the 7900 at stock clocks, Windows XP.

How's this bandwidth. I did this a few MHz higher on the memory but was not stable for 3D.

"i need to bench something sooooooon"
Nice clocks, so is 2t as much of a gap as with 939? i understand it allows for much higher o/c but do you think this is the memory or controller/chipset issue?

Damn, it has a hell of a lot more power than S939!

Can you post a compare link so that i can compare it to my S939 Opteron @ 3.2GHz with my 7900GT@ 700/1800 to see how much more powerfull it actually is?

I didn't save the result. I'll do another run and upload it to the orb.
