im not a benchmarker at all,im a true die hard gamer running my games at 2048x1536 res on my p1210 crt flat. and i need the most firepower possible for fast playable fps in games not caring about sli or (dual cards).my 8800gtx serverd my VERY well over the last year and now it can still continue in my beater rig for my friends to play on.i had every nvidia top card out since the gforce2-quad pro

i run my video cards stock for stabilty (gaming)like fugger does,but o\c the cpu\mem.stabilty\fps prevails for me as a gamer vs showing off frying my new $700 card for others to see hi 3dmarks.i know it scores hi and i will have 3dmark06 scores up but i need fps for gaming and pleasure,not bragging rights(tho its nice).u dont understand i think how hardcore i am.i stayed up for 51hrs straight playing bf2 and quake4 a few weeks ago.i am thee most die hard gamer on this site.i dont have many posts on here for being here for 4 years cause im playing,not posting.but this site is knowledge for me.and vice versa at times.this site pwnz.wish i found more die hard gamers here(pm ppl)

i cant see any reason for significant price drops for nv's new king of the hill unless ati release a better performing card..ie 4870x2.
i hope prices come down some though, obviously
