Will there be new 939 AGP based choices?

Since I am getting a bit weary of my Neo2 and all of it's quirkyness, I am wondering if there are any manufacturers planning on developing new 939 AGP based boards. I would love to get nForce4, but I cannot justify the cost when I would need a PCI-Express video card and I already have an AGP based X800 XT PE...

So, while I am fairly confident that nVidia won't be releasing a new AGP-based nForce chipset anytime soon, are there any new boards in the works? Perhaps a DFI lanparty with AGP?

    Word on the street is..

as far as i know there will be agp & pci-e

be ugly to have customers spend $500 on a new video card and then find out that you got no new board (939) to run it on right?

Your guess is as good as mine if we ever see it though.

Hmm, thanks for that . I wanted to wait for the DFI lanparty 939 AGP board, but I gave up even before I read the rumour, when I read at anandtech's CES report a week or two ago that the board was there, but not in final PCB yet. I figured it was going to be a good 1-2 months wait before I would be able to get the board based on that, so I gave up and went with the k8ns ultra-939.

p.s. - is that you in your avatar. If so, pleasure to make your acquaintance

I reckon there must be a lot of people out there with good AGP cards that feel the same.
I can't see why it's taken so long tho, esp as the Nforce4 boards have started (or are about to) shipping.

I always get a strrange feeling when it comes to considering a DFI board. I find the prospect mouthwatering but at the same time, my blood runs cold.....
