I did a search and everyone seems to be a bit fickle as to which tubing is "best". I my loop i will have 1 tight run from vid to NB. My main concern is a kink inline. I ordered masterkleer 7/16" tubing but after doing my search the only common theme is 1/2" tubing is better to prevent kinks.
Basically, will the masterkleer work? or should i get 1/2" tubing instead?
gerenal consensis is 1/2'' causes more turbulance than 7/16". I'm presently using 1/2" & I am happy with its performance, but might switch over later with my next upgrade

7/16" actually from my own experience has a tighter bend radius than 1/2".
according to cathar there is no performance difference between the two either.
Also take into consideration 1/2" is physically larger and heavier so it puts more strain on the blocks when i hangs from them.
In the looks department 1/2" looks retarded compared to 7/16" and obviously cause its larger takes up more room.

I chose the 7/16" for a tighter fit on the barbs, "possibly" less turbulence, and better turning radius since I'm using a crossfire setup. It likely really won't make that big of a difference since you've already ordered the 7/16". I also agree that 7/16" looks a little better.

and yea, the decrease in turbulence should yield you .0000001C temp difference for the better....... so basically just do it in places you need tight bends cuz the performance difference is immeasurable except in labs.

recently switched to mastkerkleer and it rocks. its a total paint to get on some barbs (specifically the NPSM fittings Swiftech uses), but creates an excelent seal, and looks alot cleaner.
Cant beat the price of the masterkleer either, what is like 25 cents a foot at mcmaster. I got like 20 feet laying around.

Question, then: what OD is best for masterkleer 7/16" ID tubing? 9/16" or 5/8"? Or does it matter?

5/8" OD is the usual stuff people get, 9/16" kinks a lot more easily on tight turns.
I have 1/2" ID 3/4" OD atm, and it's a total nightmare to route, I'm retubing shortly, I'll definitely be going to 7/16" to tidy things up a bit.
CPU Temps: Forget MBM, if it don't crash it ain't too hot.
