I had to bump to 1.32v (1.35v bios) to start priming 2.9 ghz.

I worked on one for a buddy that took 1.4v to do 2.4 GHz. Max volts for his mobo too lol.

    Yeah,
I've been seeing good results from the weeks 0621VPMW, 0625VPMW and 0626GPMW. Most of them do 2.8Ghz with low volts.

I have another 0626GPMW, which does 2.9Ghz, at 1.37V stable.
But they do get hot though, adequate cooling is a must.

I do see 3Ghz being possible with mine, however prime fails after about an hour at 1.50v and temps begin to get toasty (~44) even on water. I'm not sure for 24/7 if it will be worth it since I can run 2870 at 1.29v (and 2.9 @ 1.35v) and have a load temp in the mid 30's.

LOL everyone and their mother are getting great clocking Toledo core 3800s but I still manage to get a horrible clocking 0625 Manchester. I'll take this as a sign that it's time to hang up the ol AMD boots for a while if you know what I mean.

    Thumbs down

yeah Im pretty dissapointed...I just bought a 3800X2 Manchester.
Its 0623 XPMW not sure of the 5 letters tho.

It wont go over 2.4-2.45ghz stable no matter what voltage I put it at.
I know it aint my board or anything else holding me back.
Also this is at 1.47v Ive tried 1.52v and that only gets me like 20mhz more.
    Im extremely dissatisfied.
default voltage it wont do anything ... Im guessing over 2.3ghz cuz i know default crashes 2.4ghz

yeah my HTT is dropped to 3x and I know this mobo is capable of 295mhz HTT as per my last processor was a 3000+ in there and it was at 2.65ghz no problem.
    Its Tforce6100-939 BIOSTAR board.

Do dual cores have an extremely ineffecient memory controller or something? cuz Im only getting like 5783MB/sec now vs before on my 3000+ with the same memory settings as now I was getting 6500MB/sec or so... my effeciency went from like 89% to 73%....same exact memory settings!

Nothing special for this chip, but pretty good for me and the average x2.

This is a sub 31s superpi time with value GEIL DDr400 RAM, stock volts for RAM and CPU and what could effectively be called stock cooling, (actually Scythe Ninja but its not quite doing its job, 1m superPi brought the cpu up to about 43-47C with cold 18C room temperature.)

    More to come hopefully

Im wondering did I get an Energy Effecient chip, cuz the TDP rating is like 55Watts and the TcaseMax rating is 59C
the tcase explains why it sucks so much imo, I havent seen a rating that low on a X2 yet =(
