    News from Gskill world....F1-4000BIU2-2GBHV

    Hi guys,

I'm proud to show you some pics of a nice memory modules arrived yesterday....

    it's the new 2gb kit from Gskill, named "HV", and rated 250 mhz 3-3-2-8 @ 2.6-2.8 V

So...some "strange " new timing in the 2 Gb panorama.
Rated speed in def. conditions is still 250 mhz (pc 4000) but some better timings than UCCC IC's.

    So...here they are...

and here's my first screen, just some regular test at def. conditions.

I've just seen the first 3d from GSkill EUtech....this is mine, as a normal user, just fond of reviewing new and hot products....

my personal thnx and greetings to the great Alice...

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Test (upd. march 20th 2006)

    • max. freq. cas 2.0 | 220 Mhz | 2.0-3-2-5 | 2,6 | Link (pi32M)

......I know Eurotech has already show 'em to the world.

My 3d is perhaps, first review from common user around the world.
You're the welcome, whenever you 'll have the kit to compare our two samples and stress 'em up together...

    hi everybody...perhaps it'not 300....and never will be....

    but this is some...

double memtest @ 260 mhz, same timings, Vdimm=2.6

double memtest @ 270 mhz, same timings, Vdimm=2.6

I don't mind other alpha for the moment...just looking for the highest frequency....perhaps this is already the top...but i'll test again tonight

    .........afterwards....a look at cas 2.5....

    edit...sorry...bad screen @270...you can't see timings...believe me it's 3.3.2.6 as above

I just made some taste of this and that with memtest from DFI bios and perhaps I can get 2.3.2.5 till 220 more or less.

Seems that 3.3.3 has not benefit, nor 3.4.4.8.....270 seems to be the limit (272 in memtest BIOS but not affordable in WIn)

    Just a spi 32 @ 270 i.e.

I'm not working on alpha timings now...

    @CapFTP,

    Would you give 3D a try @ 270MHz 6-2-3-3.0-1T, please? I'd appreciate that

perhaps it's my poor english....but I still have not understood what you mean:

the test @ 270 mhz is done....do you just ask for a different "format" or else ?

I tried to summarize something in the 1st post.....hope you guys like it.
Don't hesitate to suggest me some other...

Just any 3D....these kind of ICs aren't stable in 3D at the same clocks that they are in Prime.

Just another form of stability testing

all these SPi32M or prime won't mean a thing if these stick can't even make 1 pass of 3DMarks, just use any piece of crap PCI-X card you have laying around and run maybe 3DMark2001 SE or 3DMark2003, not interested in the graphic performance but wanted to see if that memory are stable in 3D environment

here i am...proceeding....while I see also other guys are testing...so I'm happy to see similar oc ranges.

well guys , i never end to learn....and dind't expected the 3d test could fail, never happened before to me for the ram i tested.

here's the report ...while 270 is prime stable...

they' cant' afford 3dmark @ 270..and had to lower the freq. to 260

while we can keep the same settings (perhaps 1mhz less for 3dm03) for test @ cas 2.5:
