    well thats just plain silly, there just throwing money away doing that - all us overclockers will just head on over to the winbond ranch, samsung have certainly shot themselves in the foot if this proves to be true

    it seems 2 b the new trend...

    bring out an awesome new memory chip and then once it gets popular, discontinue it (eg bh5/6 and now TCCD)

    i wouldnt say DDR is over, but i think AMD may speed up their transition to DDR2, especially seeing the insane FSB's reached by the new DFI / MSI sli mobo's

    It was hard enough finding the G.Skill LA 1gb kit even when it wasn't known that TCCD was done... Now it will be ultra hard. I just ordered some from europe, no more waiting. Im currently using the LA 512 kit but that's easy to find! :P
