Is there anyone own Maxtor D-10 SATA drive with RAID-0 configuration and system freeze when boot into NV bios (not neo2 post code)?
If you have this situation, please let me know, I will definitely help you solve this problem.![]()

Good , no one has that problem?
so you guys better keep 1.41 bios running, I got 1.51 already
if there is some one can host the file, please let me know!
here are links to the bios:

OPB, MSI's hero![]()
Shoot me a PM. I'll host the 1.51 BIOS.
By the way, what's new and improved with 1.51?
Be patient, my Jedi Master..conrad.marananll post that.Originally Posted by charlie

I have uploaded BIOS 1.51 to my server. Please PM Onepagebook or myself if you are interested in downloading the file. I'll be offline for the next 10 to 15 minutes to test this baby out.
my pm is nearly full..lol
Hmmm. This BIOS is very interesting. Last night, I wanted to see what my max memory OC at 2-2-2-10 would be using 2x512MB OCZ PC3200 Platinum Revision 2 modules. My CPU clocks well, but my memory controller is holding me back. Anyway, I couldn't even complete the initial loop in SuperPi 32M at 211MHz. I repeated the test several times, all to no avail.
With BIOS 1.51, I was able to complete 8 loops of Super Pi 32M at 217MHz. I'll play around with my voltages and see if I can get it stable enough to complete the whole run.

1.51 - when the hell is MSI gonna release an official BIOS already!!?
pm to youOriginally Posted by conrad.maranan

I agree that MSI needs to release an official 1.4 or something. Hello?!?! There are quite a few of us that would appreciate some support! We did shell out a buck-twenty-five for the board. A little bit of help would be nice.
ah...that's weird...for me , it's still same nice BIOS with newer raid bios from NV (4.71)
and I even can get the 295(ddr 590 1:1 quite stable!)
I will definitely talk to MSI RD see if anything need to be improved.![]()
Okay. I flashed back to 1.51 and figured it out. The settings on the RichTek ethernet crap was reset for some reason. Back to testing.![]()
Err? the linky somewhere yet?

So what is the improvement in the 1.51 beta bios over 1.41 beta, is it better?
What are the vcore option in the bios settings?
Could you pls send it this way i wouldnt mind trying it out: arturd2@netspace.net.au
Onepagebook do you have any idea when MSI will release an official bios?
From what I've tested so far, I'll say this BIOS allows for more stability. I wish the 13%, 15%, and 18.3% options for VID would have been implemented in this release as well. Oh well.
Whats the max you can push your plat rev2s on 2.85vdimm and 2.5-3-3-8 1T timings?Originally Posted by conrad.maranan
Good clocks on that new bios there OnePageBook,
You never cease to amaze me with your Xtreme Memory OC's mate...
How would one go about getting some GSkill Ram down here in Australia??
I have access to getting most RAM at distributor prices but alas I cannot find GSkill here in OZ![]()
Right now, I've only got access to BH5's only & am thinking that the BH5's are holding my OC back...
They (BH5's) don't seem to like dividers... I've tried at least 2x256MB KHX3200, 4x256MB XMS3500 as well as 2x512MB XMS3500... All the 256MB sticks are good for 250MHz but don't like dividers somehow with the boards I have...
Either that, or my 3200+ Winnie & 3500+ NC haven't got very good memory controllers...
BTW, you have PM..
Cheers,
Minnyboy

Please refer to this link. I do not know what I can accomplish at 2.85V because I've been pushing 3.4VDIMM to my modules using a DDR Booster. At 2.5-3-3-10, I can pass infinite loops of Memtest Test #5 in dual channel @ 300MHz. However, I can not boot Windows at that speed due to a weak memory controller. If I recall correctly, running one stick of RAM through Memtest gave me 312MHz @ 2.5-3-3-10.Originally Posted by [ r2 ]
1. everyone put up some tweaker defaults w/ the various biosi.
2. OPB, pass this on to MSI:
'You do know that if you were to allow us access to all the tweaker settings like DFI does, you would pretty much steal all their thunder just in time for the Christmas buying frenzy. Or they will steal yours when their 939 boards come out......![]()
Just had a look at your thread in the above link, first like to say you sure put some time in order to complete those test, well doneOriginally Posted by conrad.maranan

Looking at test #8, 1) Were you running 3.4vdimm? 2) You didnt prime?
3) Did you prime at all using the plat rev2s (2x512)?
I didn't run Prime95 for those tests. I ran Prime95>Torture Test>Blend>Priority 10 for over 12 hours after I completed my comparisons in the linked thread. 267MHz @ 3.3V to 3.4V using 2.5-3-3-10 timings in dual channel mode is my absolute best and rock-solid memory overclock on my current configuration. I'd expect a little bit more if I had a better CPU.
Cool thanks for that, i justed wanted to compare as i have very similar setup as you, the only diffirence is i have 3200+ Winny.Originally Posted by conrad.maranan
I can memtest fine up to 277/278Mhz on 2.85 vdimm, in test 5 on 280Mhz 2.85vdimm i start to get errors in pass 127 (didnt try 279Mhz).
In windows i can pass 32MB run with 277HTT 1:1 on 2.85vdimm, didnt try priming as i dont use much anymore because it can be a pain. In earlier tests i did prime stable for 8Hrs+ at 267HTT 1:1 2.8vdimm![]()
Now that i have the booster installed i will be able to see what the rev2s can do. The odd thing i found that the booster seems to report slightly lower vdimm ie:bios=2.7, booster reports=2.6vdimm. But what i figured that is normal as the booster doesnt report .5 readings.
Also the bios version plays a big role with 1:1 o/c as i noticed. Using bios 1..36 gave me really strange memtest results, with bios 1.41 was much better now that im using 1.51 should really see some improvement.
Im also planning on getting the OCZ 4200 plats![]()
