Thats only 200MHz worse than OPPs 3 stage cascade! It is common knowlege that you get dimininishing returns the colder you get. at -40c you can easily hit 3.2 to 3.4GHz and -120c only gains ya another 200, maybe 300MHz more but hey it still matters if you wanna be first place

WR for single stage! Awesome clocking -

Mr. ti4200: No thats no common knowledge. And its not "only 200Mhz worse" - Its 200mhz less - A big difference there in the acknowledgement of the overclock. But if thats your contribute to his accomplishment then there´s nothing I can do about anyway.

    nice OC! Congrats!

Mine is a bit lower ~3350 MHz CH stable with Mach II GT @ 1.8V (on A8V).
FX-55 are excellent overclockers, I really never had a CPU so pleasant to work with!

BTW, 2950 MHz stable on boxed cooler - just 50 MHz lower than my FX-53 under prommy...

Good job, ojdr2001. I, too, wish to own an FX-55 one day. Those chips are amazing considering they are completely unlocked. **Breaks out the calculator to see if an FX-55 is in December's budget**

ojdr's FX55 does 2980Mhzs under stock cooler, he got 27s SuperPi with the FX55 stock cooled, just as much as he got with the 53 under prommy (2996Mhzs).
