with high volt even 2,7
Damn I had one of those and gave it away without prior testing
Sandy Bridge incoming.
don't be sad
i've the same stepping and i can't get over 2550MHz doesn't matter with what voltage
but mine can do 2500MHz @ 1,55V primestable.....
so, i think i'll RMA my CPU and hope that i get a "good" 0433SPMW

Peter, was this a retail boxed 3200+ or an OEM?
It's a retail boxOriginally Posted by trans am
That's what I thought. retail boxes will be newer yields, and should oc higher. oem comes out first and don't oc as well. then the retail boxes come out and they rule! Does this sound legit or am I just blowing fvcking smoke?
Here is my 3200+ 90nm result: http://medlem.spray.se/athlons/32.JPG

Friend: Do you have a spare PSU lying around?
Me: No why?
Friend: My PSU just blew up, I think the second 8800GTX might have been too much for it to handle
Me: what PSU was that again?
Friend: Antec 480w
Me:........
Just ordered one of those too , with the Asus A8V. I think 3Ghz will be easy with my Mach II :banana4:

Looks like my wait for 3GHz is drawing to a close one question: how the heck did you get 300MHz 1:1 on your ram? I know of no such ram thatll do 300fsb, especially in dual channel. If this was bh5, it would be 2-2-2-5 at like 4 volts! could it be some sort of pc4200 ram? then it would be 3-4-4-8 timings! God id love to own 300x9 winchester 1:1 this would get me some VERY good 3dmarks and gaming performance! 300x10 is even better!!!!!!!!!!

He´s using Gskill TCCD You might want to consider these along with your next cpu cause you dont need soldering to get in the "higher than normal" speed area.

It's not all that great, my 0.13µ Clawhammer does also 2750Mhz on air.

Not much of a performance gain (if there is) for winchester cores.
