    Higher FSB = more performance
2.8A has stock 133 FSB which means that @ 5GHz it would only be running 238 FSB
Plus there is nothing wrong with a 3.2E engineering sample...

    Not neccessarily true....
The 2.8A is the IDEAL supercooled processor.
    21 x 245 = 5145@ 1:1 2-2-2-5 is VERY powerful, moreso than 300fsb @ 5:4...

Mobo is FSB limited @ 320, I dropped the multiple down to 14 and tried to break 320 FSB

The CPU wants to go higher...

I guess it is time to go get a 2.8e from Fry's (in stock D0)

yeah, they don't need/use the juice...
they do 90% of their OC within .10v of default. Even the 5.5gHz LN2 guys only fee them 1.72-1.77v

ES has 14-16x multi's. And you didn't say ES...

charlie, how would 245x21 running 1:1 be faster? 320x16 (memory 256MHz @ 2-2-2-5) has the advantage in FSB and memory speed, not to mention HT. Unless the 2.8A can clock significantly higher compared to the 3.2E ES.
