I like your article Kinc.. really clear and useful...

Pefect i take one for bench for sure.. certainly 2 quick for CF.. in wait see what can give XTX with some optimisation...

Is someone have the exact size of the core chip..?... i have perhaps find a maze can fit, first for water, but can certainly be use then.. he got the same orientation of the R600 core... so if its don't touch the side.. it should be fine for me..

Wow, congrats for the single 3dmark 05 WR.
Very impressive results and seems that 05 is the strong part of this card.
06 is much difficult thought. But sounds that LN2 and or Dice wont be a prooblem for this card, So, I expect to see more.

    Thanks Kinc.

I like that leave the rest of the heatsink mounting on the card but take the main fins off hehe. Looks like you don't have the fan plugged in is that right? Wouldn't taking that off and mounting better cooling on the regulators help out a bit possibly?

Oh quick question if you have time whats the dimension on the heatsink contact point to the GPU? The part that sticks down, just curious, thx again.

+1 for me about the exact size... like i have say i have an old waterblock from 1-A cooling sitting here, ( a old i have use on 6600GT SLI) and the maze is tight (3cm by 3cm) and orientation is same... at first view, it seems it can be use, in wait some good come.. but i m not sure..

Someone have heard something from EK? about full coverblock?

considering you can score two 2900XT cards for the price of one Ultra, I look forward to the two card benchmarks.

    Excellent so far Kinc
The little air system that could.

For some reason I glanced over the picture and didn't see the evap on the card, just the air-sink shround, and I thought these were clocks on air Great clocks though, 1.1GHz Core is nuts!

Hello Kinc got two of these suckers on the way is there a need to use vga ram sinks on the memory on the top side of the card would you advise, also why did you leave part of the stock heatsink on to cool the ram maybe

    thanks
