AMD DTX specifications

AMD today announced what appears to be the near final specifications for their two upcoming board size standards, DTX and Mini-DTX.

Base DTX motherboard specifications are as follows:

* Overall size
o DTX – 9.60 in x 8.00 in (243.84 mm x 203.20 mm)
o Mini-DTX – 6.70 in x 8.00 in (170.18 mm x 203.20 mm)
* Mounting hole locations
* Rear I/O dimensions and locations
* PCI and/or PCI Express connector locations

Note that this information is in no way final, and that AMD are subject to change this.

No not really, this is about the complete proposed guidelines which AMD has just released. What you are thalking about is about the announcement, where they only told us a little bit about it's proposed specs. Oh and keep in mind that these are still proposed specs, these are still not final, AMD even says it is encouraging hardware manufacturers, design manufacturers, component vendors, and others to take part in establishing the form factor's guidelines.
