onboard audio is always a compromise.
Stick in a proper creative audigy series card and the sound is much better then current onboard solutions. Most enthusiats do this anyway.
Also, onboard sounds has higher cpu load then a proper solution.

Windwithme: i know i'm kicking in an open door here, but how does it go? what fsb is it doing? Many people here are looking for a high feature board with proper sata but it has to do some decent FSB numbers as well.

well onboard audio will be done via Dfi Karajan module that is not seen in the screenshot, that's all

The karajan module isolate the audio chip on a riser board, wich will help reduce distortion caused by the motherboard

What other board gives you 32 lane SLI, and without hacked drivers? The feature set is impressive, and if you have ES or EE processor you don't really need super high FSB.

If Kentsfield is multiplier unlocked this is probably the board to get.

eek I meant koala, no idea why i typed panda

I wonder if the NB is actually meant to be passive or not, I'm sure others have seen the fan version. (I bet people will replace that weiner of a heatsink anyway haha)
