Arrow XS PSU Deal Of The Month

Every month, one deal for either PSU or PSU accessories will be chosen as the "best deal" for the price and stored here.

    This Month (September 06) Deal:

    Enhance ENP-5150GH 500W ATX12V Rev.2.2 (24/20+8/4+6), 80+ RoHS, Quiet PSU

    http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?p=PS-...a9cc771c8ad72#

This psu is the same as the Silverstone ST50EF with the same patented guaranteed 80%+ efficiency rating and as such will power well beyond 500W (it has 420W on the 12V Rails Alone) and should power the latest AM2 and Conroe Single High End GPU Rigs OCed To MAX with no problems...think enermax liberty 500w performance for almost $40 less

Hmmmmm..... I'm not sure what all this PSU is capable of.

    Perkam, will it run:

    E6700 OC'd
    P5WDG2-WS Pro
    X1900XTX OC'd
    4 x 320 Seagates hdds
    2 x DVD burner drives
    Few fans and cathodes

I have a GameXStream that I haven't used yet, but then I read JonnyGuru's review on it about the horrible ripple issue it has. This powersupply looks very strong.

    Thanks

As long as you do not go crossfire, it'll run that system flawlessly

Yes but in what conditions? U realy need to push up to xtreme to make OCZ go crazy with ripple & noise. In reallity it will work perfect.

    Agreed.

Most of the load on the 12V rail comes from video cards. You throw two video cards in a PC, two high end video cards, and the playing field completely changes.

Hmmmm... what would be asfae number for his system on the 12v then? If this does 420 what would be "minimum"? Just picking your brains.

Trying to see what would be ok. I run 2 less HD's.

I bought one of these a few moths ago after reading johnny's review of the silverstone clone. mine powers a E6600@3.6 (1.52v)/intel D975Xbx, 2gb Corsair 5400C4@800(2.2v) 250gb WD sata2, 4 x WD 5000YS hdds Raid5 on an Areca 1210 controller, 7800GT, Koolance Exos external H20 rig, 2 x 120mm case fans, 1 x 92mm case fan, misc other small fans.

    SUPER stable.
