I was testing my Kentsfield on the P5B and could only get FSB up to 400. But then I stuck my 6600ES in the board. Much different results. The board is not modded. Running 4-4-4 timings for all the tests.
M/B: Asus P5B Deluxe
BIOS: 0502
CPU: Conroe 6600ES
RAM: Corsair 6400C3 @ 4-4-4-12
Cooling: Dry ice + 3" copper pot
Vcore: 1.685 (BIOS), VDimm: 2.45v
Vmods: None
Highest FSB so far
Cinebench @ 500X9
Sadly, there are no Windows overclocking programs that work with this board. Also, BIOS does not allow me to change the multiplier with Conroe and I can only use downward multis with Kentsfield. I think this board is capable of 530+ FSB unmodded.
I did run some tests with Kentsfield, but I didn't get very far because of FSB limitation.
Cinebench @ 3980MHz
