It looks like a TR Ultra on steroids. I don't doubt it will crush all other cooling solutions, but 960g is too heavy. I would only risk using this on a good cheap media center case which there isn't.

Looks like it may be the cooling champ. Someone needs to test it against a Tuniq Tower 120 and Thermalright Ultra 120.
Hartware has....it beats the Ultra-120 in CPU temp by .5C.
Scales well with better fannage too it seems (loses by .6C at low-RPM with their quiet fan).
Indeed we may have the new champion here....especially at high loads and with high fannage.
Sweet mounting system on LGA775 and AM2 to boot

Dammit. I just bought an SI-97A. If I had waited a little longer, I would've just gone for one of these. Oh well, SI-97A should give me pretty decent temps (I won't know until my replacement K8 mounting hardware gets here from FrozenCPU).

good lord that thing is a beast of a cooler @.@. Been using watercooling and I didn't realize that cpu coolers were so freaking huge now
Looks pretty good.

it looks like the PWM temps are kinda highOriginally Posted by mariosimas

Easy for me to understand. Take notice of room temps, around 29C when the Infinity was tested, around 23.5C for most of the others. Just reduce temps by 5.5C to compensate for the higher room temps to have an accurate view of how it compares. Giving about 51.5C CPU temp and 43.5C PWM temp.Originally Posted by t1no
It looks like Infinity is now top dog when it comes to air cooling. (was Tuniq Tower)
These guys claim Tuniq Tower beats Ninja+ and Mine by 2 degrees:
http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=get...23&articID=419
Now this article shows Infinity beating Mine by 6 degrees:
http://www.technic3d.com/?site=artic...icle&a=297&p=3
However these guys say Infinity beats Mine by 3.6 degrees and Ninja by 2.5 deegrees:
http://www.hartware.de/review_604_7.html
This would theoretically have Infinity beating Tuniq Tower by anywhere from .5 to 4 degrees. However I'd like to see a showdown between the two.

Okay i have a couple questions about the infinity:
1. Cheapest place to buy it?
2. Will it fit in my pc 65b?
3. Will it fit on My Ultra D?
If anybody can answer these questions that would be great.
