Didn't get my vcore option in this bios either

Oh they added that DFI feature so you can save overclocking profiles though

vcore set to auto? ->cmos clear. u should be able to set vcore now. and enter a value! do not keep "auto"

vcore = auto, then clear cmos, then back to bios and it's still auto and I can't change it because when I press Enter on cpu vcore auto is the only option there.

Wooo! That's one of the things i've missed the most, i'm SO glad that's back!

If you want a slightly better place to DL, try Here. Much better than crappy rapidshare.

DL'ing BIOS now, looking forward to testing.

Bios was sent to us (www.Hardwareluxx.de and for sure many editors around as well) by ASUS DE yesterday morning

OC profiles are very, very nice 2 play with
And yes - afaik it´s Asus first OC-Profile filled version

    no issues so far

    Hi NiCKE^

It is "AUTO" the first time when entering BIOS.
    There is no set list.
The same when rebooting and entering BIOS at once.
(Either when it is possible to change at that time thinks that the character of
    AUTO was yellow.
Now though it is not certain because board is not here.)

However, it can find set list and set the Vcore in BIOS after the OS is started and ends.
So, please enter BIOS after it ends of the start of OS once.

This case was used with P4-631.
I think that it was able to set it at any time if it is E6700ES.

    I was wondering that to.

With the newer bios does the PC still shutt off when you do a reboot? Mine only does this when it's oced.

ya, ive noticed a few oddities with the ASUS (BIOS 701)

on the very first boot after clear CMOS not only can i not set volts (core) but if i go to hardware monitor, it LOCKS

    -but-

2nd (or 3rd) boot (going into windows & NO clear CMOS) i get a fully functional BIOS

will try 901 as soon as i can

    thanks and GOOD LUCK!!

    Check out some of the weird vcore options i get;

Probably will be solved when i next reboot anyway.
But aside from that, all seems to work well, time to start FSB testing. If it can beat 420mhz it's a keeper

Ok so now I've booted up Windows, restarted it and went into bios and I still can't change vcore to anything else then auto. Tried to reboot several times and nothing
Do I've to reboot like 3 times without entering Bios before I can enter it?
Well I don't know what to do.

Thanks for the help OMEGA3 but it seems like you trick didn't want to work

complete cmos-clear (unplug power-cable, remove mainboard-battery and set the CMOS-clear jumper... then after clearing u should be able to set vcore in bios. enter and select one value (ex. 1,4V). from now on u should be able to set vcore in future...

    this usually works

I've tried that Schlingel trust me.

    OMEGA3, I used the latest 901, I will try with 0078 in 10 minutes.
Also with 0088 I get that vcore option. But I can't use it, if I use it I get black screen
Maybe I should flash with 0088 and load windows two times and then enter bios on the third reboot?

This cleared up for me after a reflash with all the afudos codes (sorry don't have them with me) and then let it post for a sec, shut down, pull power cord, battery, leave clear jumper on for 15 sec, and then reconnect everything and go into bios save and restart and try vcore again. it will come on sooner or later if you keep repeating these things. It's a pain though huh? I wish they would fix this.
