    Allendale e6500es on gigabyte ds3 mobo results



    Don't want to do anymore because my cpu is reading 55 degrees at idle?

    Im sure the heatsink is on fine though...

    Im on F1 bios.

    No, 3000+ is 6300 For them
    6500 is more like 3500+

    Actually this one will be named as E4300. It seems cpu-z ain`t recognising it quite well atm. Very good chip never the less. 9x multy and 200FSB at stock.



    Now go and get some decent cooling for that little chip and squeeze >3.5 out of it

    No its deffiantly a 6500...

    They are due out later i think..

    Im on a coolermaster hyper 48+ which should do the job?

    Still these high temp reports are worrying, does anyone elses gigabyte report high temps?

    try to flash F3 BIOS - perhaps temp monitoring ain`t that correct with F1.
    Oh and what`s the default clocks ? with 200FSB it should be 1.8GHz - just like E4300

    if you look @ cpu-z = 2.4Ghz (266x9)

    default is 266fsb and 2.4ghz

    e6400 is not 2.4ghz at stock.

    Whats stock cpu volts?

    1.3volts?

    Using cheap kingmax ram too, seemed to do ddr667 at 1.9volts ok though. Only ram i've got that will post in this mobo :/

    Whats safe volts to go to on ddr2 ram?

    Wait, isn't the E6500 the 2.4 ghz 1066fsb 2mb chip Intel is also releasing in Q4?
