Bios 6-21.
800 FSB CPU used.
enable "Enhanced 800 FSB Mode"
then...
400 MHz Mem speed becomes 4:3
533 MHz Mem speed becomes 1:1
667 MHz Mem speed becomes 3:4 (or 4:5, can't remember)
800 MHz Mem speed becomes 2:3.
no 1:2 ratio when you enable enhanced 800 FSB Mode, but you unlock a lower then 1:1 ratio for the FSB.
this I suppose would be kinda interesting for a person wanting to break the 500+ FSB mark, without the Ram Holding you back.
Overclocking with this mode however, gives crazy results.
bandwidth goes nuts, you get crazy speed read outs, like 40 x 1 mhz.
but overclocking with this board becomes super easy, like it goes from boot sometimes. to booting 100% of the time.
getting higher 1:1 ratios, then without the enhanced 800 FSB enabled.
the theory I hear from a friend is...
with a 800 FSB CPU, the board is running with a 800 Strap... and a higher NB multiplier. thats why its harder to OC in 800 Strap Mode.
enabling Enhanced 800 FSB mode, changes the strapp to 1066, lowering the NB multiplier, and making the board more overclockable.
atleast, thats the theory.
heres some weirdness pics...
