maybe...probably...but I don't know it and don't want too either. If your gonna cheat why not just photochop some $hit too while your at it. The only cheat I've heard of was when nVidia did drivers "optimized" for 3dmark and thats why futuremark now has accepted/approved drivers.

if you ran the clocks you ran, you didnt cheat. Your scores look good to me, that 6600GT run is very impressive.

Just made a new run http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8461491 I am running 66.93 drivers & windows XP so I think 27k is not so far & the coolest thing is I run it on stock cooling & box on CPU, dont have opened window

BTW the card is 24/7 stable @ this clocks ->621/1228Mhz

but it's not a cheat, ya c all textures ya just c them in worst quality

theres a NULL cheat, people have used it widely for 2003 but I think they patched it now for that. Not sure how much it helps in 2001 but it inflates nature for sure. There may be other cheats but I disreguard their scores if it doesnt look legit

i think ATI cards don't even have this NULL option! so it's not a fair comparison obviously.

Missing butterflies? Really?

Then LOD should be concidered a cheat, and not an optimization. Not rendering all the objects IS cheating. Easy as that.

Well, most people from OC Guru think that benchmarks are just about your hardware, and don't care about software tweaks. A good example is if you look at the 3D Mark 05 shots, most of them have the "eye candy" mode on Windows XP. Well, that goes to show ya - and they're calling you a cheater?
