Hey guys, i got the 3000 winnie and In the bios I'm running the volts @ 1.65, but cpu-z shows 1.55. I heard about winnies undervolting, but can this just be a motherboard issue reporting it wrong? Im on the K8N neo 2 on the 1.41 beta bios.

I honestly find no difference when running 285fsb 1:1 with 2.5/4/4/8 as compared to running 220fsb with 2-2-2-5. In fact, running with lower timings resulted in better performance. The only benchmark to benefit from the high FSB 1:1 is sandra mem bandwidth.
Can anyone provide info to prove that running 285fsb 1:1 with loose timings is better than running a lowr fsb with tightest 2-2-2-5 timings??

With a NW/Claw, it will give the correct voltage when set in the BIOS, but with a Winchester it will give .1 below what you set it to.
stock for 130nm 1.5v
stock for 90nm 1.4v

I still can't believe my CPU of the same stepping is doing 2500MHz max Prime stable...

It's just that you get more multi options with the 3500+, Also you need to note that right now AMD has no better 90nm cpu than the 3500+....... What this means is that when AMD speed-bins the winchester cpu's, the fastest chips will be put in the 3500+ speed bin. Normally you would have the 3800+ and FX to compete with, but since they are 130nm right now, they are excluded from the speed bin, putting the best 90nm into the 3500+. I would probably wait until after January for latest stepping.thx trans
trans am. you got lucky. I just got my 3200 week 41 oem from monarch and it tops out at 2.5... your a lucky guy... that is the cpu that i was hoping to get.. lol.. I wonder what I would have gotten if i waited and purchased the 3500...

This is odd, I expected your 1m run to be lower than 31s. We have the same clockspeed, but your ram is going much faster than mine, but we both have 31s in superpi. Is this 2T?ADA3200DIK4BI
