motherboard disagrees w gpu-z

it reports pci express 2.0

video card is nvidia 670

it reports pci express 3

video drivers nvidia 326.41 beta (prone to kernel mode failures)

gpu-z says i am running pci 1.1 x 16 lanes.

is this an issue with the drivers?
I realize that pci express 2.0 x 16 will only give me a ~5% improvement over pci express 1.1 but would like to figure out where the pci express 1.1 number is coming from.

The PCI-E link speed will often downclock when the performance is not needed. Run the gpu-z render test or anything else that stresses the card and observe what gpu-z says while that is running.
