Overclocking, it's a lifestyle
They are not using heaters, ask Monstru.

Hi guys,
just wanted to drop by and say that we have been working with these pots a few now and they are working really well. I like the control on the new CPU pot, and I like it a lot. More pics from action will come soon as I am preparing a post on LAB501 about this.
When you look at the frosty pictures, I want to make something very clear. This is not how Petri and EK meant this pot to work. We have heaters for both front and back of the mobo but we did not connect them. Because we use a different type of insulation then usual, we want the frost there, so we did not use the heaters like a normal user would. Don't worry, that does not show up when you use the pot as it was intended. Here are some things to keep you cold while we prepare the latest pics. Yes, that is a GTX Titan...
I wanna see some pics with the heater doing its job...curious about it. It's a really big seling point for me.

That would be nice if it worked that way, would save a lot of trouble.
Not sure if temps in the -100c or colder range would work this way tho. Condensation gets pretty bad depending on where you live at.
Anyway I was just asking.
@Buckeye: A single wrap of 3mm thick self-adhesive neoprene sheet over the plastic is enough to stop condensation formation over the plastic parts. The main role of the heaters is to: a) defrost the hand grip nut and b) warm up the VRM area around the CPU socket. For dry ice you might not need any additional insulation on the plastic part.
The awaited adapter plate for EK-SF3D Triple Point memory cooling is now here!
It features AMD S940/939/754 mounting hole pattern and you can fit:
1) single-stage or cascade phase change evaporator
2) CPU water block - for example EK-Supremacy - with TEC / Peltier
3) your old CPU pot if you have room for it
Universal mounting mechanism with very long countersunk M4 screws, washers, nuts, springs and thumb nuts will be included.

Are there any other mounting kits for the Inflection Point EVO CPU Pot in your plans, meaning for AMD or older Intel sockets ?
Intel LGA-2011 planned for June 21st (but most likely shipping on June 26th due to some National holidays), AMD early July (around 5th).

Got a small heavy package
http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/newbb...p?post_id=1589
Pretty impressed with quality of manufacturing and package, will see how it goes
You are as good as your samples are!
doing some "oddness" but I think it will work out.
bought some plates from frozencpu and looked up documentation. the pot mounting holes are tapped m3 correct?
going to buy some 35mm m3 machine screws for use with a different pot (that I had to bore out the mounting holes slightly from 2.5 to 3) Frankenstein some stuff together.
Current Status - Testing & Research
Yes it is tapped M3. Be careful as the thread is only about 2.5mm deep. Since it is aluminium it is not that hard to strip it (assuming you will be ghetto modding the hell out of it :P)
You might be interested in adapter (see couple of posts above this one), it will be easier (and safer) to frankenstein it. The adapter will be 20.95€ incl. VAT. Will come with extra long screws. Probably available by Wednesday.
