Google the chip in the bottom left hand corner that could be the power amp.

Replied to your PM you sent me on another forum, but for reference here for anyone else, if i recall correctly(Most of the cards that i mod are PCI models), the correct capacitor to change is the lower right most capacitor, and i believe is labelled as C199 (it should be right above the markings C193 and C194).

Yes, that is the correct capacitor if i recall correctly. Difference will be minimal at best, especially with the coupling capacitors still in the audio path. Obviously there would be no harm in doing so, and if you already have the capacitor, i'd say go for it.

Is it anyhow recomandet to remove the audio grade output caps ? i'm not to familiar into this mods, i know the biggest difference is the op amp's but i've also heard a bigger cap would do some clear bass in some situation. Well there is actualy a problem cause i got a 2200uF its really big i have to mount it on the back of the card cause there's no way the metal case will fit with the big cap installed so it will "look not so good". I really dont know what to do

The audio coupling capacitors (they are 22uf. and iirc 10v, but those value capacitors are used in more than one part of the x-fi) are ideally shorted, but since i haven't actually shorted those caps on a titanium card, and the layout of those capacitors is different than the older PCI cards, it wouldn't be more than an educated guess as far as what capacitors would need to be shorted (and i would venture to say, by shorting the cheap Jamicons that creative uses, you get a gain equal if not larger than the OpAmps alone, as the OpAmps are really limited by the Jamicon coupling capacitors). I'm not really aware of anyone modding the titanium beyond OpAmps though, all the cards i've modded for people have been OpAmp only as far as titaniums.

Thank you verry much for clearing it up bomberboysk. Rather than messing things up i will have the card standard with only the op amp's changed since i don't have proffesional speekers. The gigaworks S750 will sound better with new op amp's trought and i guess that's about it U wore most kind and generous for your help !

hah! That's the pic I had a buddy take, so I could post it in the Head-Fi.org thread I made on this topic!

That being said, thanks Bomber for not only answering the (to the best of your knowledge), but also answering the other question I had asked on Head-Fi and gotten only a sentence or two on. Which, was not very helpful I might add lol

EDIT: Told said friend, of this reply, to which he said:

    -';.- says (7:39 PM):
also tell him that i went to work modding said card immediately upon finding the thread
    -';.- says (7:39 PM):
and that if all goes extremely well i'll join the forums and give my two cents

Have a new question about the Xfi Fatal1ty Pro Mod.

I want to know if its possible to change the DAC with a high quality pro one. From what i've researched the board has DAC CS4382 and its kinda crap. Xfi Elite Pro has also Cirrus Logic but CS4398 witch is same size from what i can see but much better. Is is possible to change the DAC with CS4398 or even a better one (ex. Burr) ? if yes can u please recomand a verry good dac for the card. I can buy the CS4398 one from here witch is really cheap in my country. Arround 20$

this is a question that sounds most appropriate to the crews at DIYaudio.com. some of the most fanatical and knowledgable people about audio I've met there.
    i7 2600k, 8GB 1866Mhz DDR3, GTX560 Ti, Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4, CM Cosmos 1000 Case, and some green crap everywhere.
