Right like said i got deployed to reserve a week ago. Finnish military service is little different that it may be in states, mandatory for every healthy male (ofc there's a civil service as alternative). Lasts 180/270/362 days depending on what kinda training you get.
Crew usually doesn't serve longer than 180 unless they're MPs/drivers (possibility to get BECE driving license free this way!)/field medics. Reserve NCOs and Officers serve for 362 days :P
Truly a once in a lifetime experience :P
