The effect of input lag is heavily dependent on the type of game you're playing and one's vision and reflexes. I was just playing Rockband with a friend the other day and when he calibrated the peripherals on his DLP TV they were ranging from 45-85 ms lag. The game was still very playable though.

just got mine, I honestly don't see any difference in lag compared to the samsung 2232bw, image quality is awesome and said AG coating is barely noticeable and not an issue at all..

Playing Mirrorīs Edge again, its Sooooooooo Awesomely Criiiiiiiisp !

AFAIK IPS panels tend to have more display lag than TN panels. But the resolution and the colour accuracy and the viewing angles blows almost all he TN panels out of the water.

I don't game professionally and I'd say input lag of the u2711 is decent.

However I noticed that you mentioned you want a eyefinity setup. Do note that you need an extremely powerful system to game on 2 of those monitors they have a total resolution of 5120x1440. My 5870 is very mildy laggy at 2560x1440. Thus I'd recommend 3x 24 inch monitors.

Dell are good monitors but not necessarily the best for gaming, im running 3x 26" asus monitors.. runnning @ a 2ms response rate, these things fly! Model number is Vk266h 1920x1200 also, my eyefinity setup runs smooth as with a 5760x1200

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
