What kind of memory for i5 750?

Looking to jump on a Frys i5 750 + Gigabyte P55A UD3. I know the "mid-high-end" has gone up in price, where I should be trying a 920 + X58, but oh well. I figure it's better to save now and buy more later.

Anyway, what kind of RAM should I try for? I know it's probably 4gb for now, but any recommendations?

I like high clock speeds, but I care about timing. It seems like timing matters the most in DDR3 benches I've seen.

Now it's been almost 5 years since I built a system, and I'm on DDR1 for AMD!!! LOL. I loved timings so much I went for OCZ VX with 2-2-2 last time instead of trying for DDR600, and settled for DDR500. When I went to 2gb, I went for the low timing OCZ Platinum or whatever 1gb sticks. I always forget my timings. Was it 2.5-3-2? Something like that.

Looking back I should've probably shot for clock speed instead as 2-2-2 @500 versus higher timings and DDR600 was probably better for DDR600. But now it seems DDR3 likes lower timings? (based on what I read on Anandtech's tests)

Any recommendations on what sticks I should pick up?

    oh ok thanks!

and i havent been keeping up with the recent tech stuff, but I heard i7s (do i5s suffer from this?) can't deal with high vdimm? I see many modules that are rated for 1.65V, but isn't that too high? what do you guys think?
