Bloodrage bios 1 and 2 corrupted

Today I tried to update the bloodrage bios using the usb flash method. I used the G29 bios and the flashing went perfectly. However the bios is corrupted I think.

I always get the same error: AHCI bios not installed.

I saved the original bios to the usb drive, so my original plan was to reflash to the original bios. However when I enter the g29 bios to change the boot priority to boot from usb, the bios will not save the settings and therefore I can't run awdflash. Both bios 1 and bios 2 are now corrupted, how can I resolve this problem?

Stick your USB key in your PC then re-boot your computer, as soon as it restarts, start tapping the F12 key, eventually it should give you a boot menu, use the arrow keys to select the device you want to boot from, hopefully your USB stick is in the list, select it, press enter and away you go.

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately I still get the same error. Is there a way to get a new bios chip?

You would have to speak to lord trident about that, they would prolly charge you as beta bioses void warrenty.

Have you tried flashing inside windows ? or cant you get into windows.

Try unplugging all your SATA devices, IDE, whatever so that the bios only has the USB to boot too. That may work. Have you moved the jumper to force bios 2 to boot?
