    G.Skill F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ? what IC?

I got some of these not too long ago, & always assumed they were the same Powerchips as in the DDR2-1000 kit, but according to r00n's list they are D9HNL.

    Anyway have confirmation for that?
I know i could rip off the heatspreaders on mine, but i'd rather not.

I have one of those kits and they can do DDR2-1000 5-5-5-15 1,84v prime and memtest stable.

Someone correct me if iīm wrong but i didnīt see any Micron D9HNL doing something like this.

Micron D9NHL I have installed 20+ sticks of these in my workplace solidworks cad systems. Pic that shows the chips are pretty blurry.

thats not micron micron needs volts mine need 2.3V for c5 1000mhz, thats probly the slightly lower or identical powerchip ics that are in the 1000mhz

but the old kits are micron

    Eh, even more confusion.

So some are certainly Micron D9HNL, but i also have never seen that IC clock worth anything, which is why i assumed it was the same Powerchips as in the 500 MHz kit, likely just lower binned.

Well, maybe someone else will chime in or Bei Fei, wanna pull off some more heatspreaders if you have some newer ones?

Yes, at firts i tought it was Micron looking at Roonīs list (i picked this kit because a friend of mine bought 2 for error and at that moment i needed 4gb).

But i remember exactly what both of you say , that Micron needs more volts and their oc average is not that good. Iīm pretty sure they are the new Powerchips, just lower binned than the 8000CL4D kit.

Funny itīs the first time iīm happy for not having Micron ICīs in my modules

I can check some of the new sets that I have next week sometime and see what chips they all have.

That's Powerchip without a doubt. I'll update my RAM List accordingly. Thanks.

    I knew it!

So apparently G.Skill was initially using D9HNL, but i've suspected for a long time now that it was Powerchips, since D9HNL doesn't clock worth anything (& most of these kits do clock well).

Thanx guys, keep the results coming.
