    2600xt + 3dmark issue

I just downgraded from a 8800gts to a 2600xt to save some money for my next upgrade since I wasn't using the 8800gts to its potential.

OS1...vista basic 32bit...none of the 3dmark application would work, they all jammed on splash screen.

OS2...vista business 64bit...for some reason it worked correctly on this.

OS3...xp pro...again, it went back to jamming on the splash screen.

Never had trouble running 3dmark in any operatings systems with any of my past cards ranging back to windows 98. So it is the video card itself and/or the drivers.

Anyone else have a problem like this or know a remedy to fix it?

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. It works now.

Still, wonder why it worked without it in vista 64bit.

Vista x64 should come with an updated direcpll.dll already
