Ahhhh, gotcha. Really, though, man, I'd just stick some nice big passive sinks on the mobo components, make sure there's a little airflow in the case, and call it a day . You'll save a lot of money over a WC loop, and since it's just mobo stuff your performance won't be affected at all.

im still deciding on my case but right now i have it narrowed down to either the v2000 or the tj07. but i think ill do the v2000 due to the mobo mount and the ability to hide most the cables which i really want but as far as air flow ill probably put some delta fans in their and put a lot of sound proffing to deafen the 60 decibles coming from the deltas lol.

should give me great flow and with some sound dampening the 60 decibles will be greatly reduced.

well it seems i will be able to do my comp soon i can get every thing ready before the cpu and gpus come to store shelving. for the case i have decided on teh silverstone tj07-bw. the mobo i still need some help choosing the right one. i really like asus but i was looking at the dfi lan party mobo. this is where you come in i want to be able to overclock my comp all the way with no worries. For the gpus i was wondering how hard it will be to thermal proff the quad sli. Since 2 cards will be very close together will their be enough space to cover the gpus so nothing happens.

Well, "future proof" is a very relative term...After a couple of years, even the most very expensive hardware out there won't be able to handle current software demands. But waiting for the fall definitely makes sense to me .

i was refering to a comp that will atleast last me about a min of 3 to 5 years maybe. i.e. it will be able to run programs and games down the road with out major upgrades required. the comp i have now only lasted about 2 years which isnt great considering my 7 year old dell laster for more than 5 years lol. o and heres an update im not getting the 8950s any more i figured since i have to wait till december or later for penryn i might as well wait for the 9800 since thoes will be out supposedly october.
