Is this rig worth 450$?

Hey guys, I previously posted about buying a PC and a friend of mine is selling one and I was wondering if it passed your guys' test for a good CSS pc!
Specs:
AMD 3200 running at 2.2GHz
DDR 1GB Patriot RAM
6800 GT 256 MB AGP8x
MSI Mobo

And hes also including Windows XP, a SATA II hd, and a disk drive.
This PC is also about 2.5 years old and nothing is OCed. Would it be worth it for me to spend 450$ USD on this computer to play just CS:S on? Maybe even BF2 (not likely). It is much better then my current PC. Please let me know what you all think.

it's not a bad computer for $450, but if it were me, I'd save that money and get something a little better.

Yea the burner can be a liteon 20X for $33. but lately I had some compatibility issues with them so I'm like what the heck let me recommend that asus one.
