E6600 to lap or not to lap

I've got a week 23 conroe and just wondered what people's experience was on lapping them? My processor os not very badly concave but it is not flat either, I'm running 1.55v actual (1.53v load), temps are 42-44 idle and 52-55 load using core temp. room temp is about 25-27deg.
Cooling is D5@setting 3, pa120.3, enermax fans on low/med, maze 4 gpu, alphacool xp bold rev1 (as is looked better made than my rev2 one).

well, 43/56 is VERY nice temp range to run at that speed... don't bother lapping (hehe) if you dont wanna go _extreme_ silent system, imo.

ps water cooling.. it says it all

lap if it is an oem (less warranty). But be really careful when you lap it. There is a small gap in between the IHS and the cpu. Don't want water to run into it.
