I regasses the mach1 and I am not finding a leak at all. It is loosing gas but I am not seeing it. I am going to look for a can of uv 134a local and see if I can find the leak.
Know a better way?

buy a leak detector, not the uv type but the one that sucks in a little air, heats it up and breaks it down to analyze the content, you can detect leaks infinitly small, it takes a little time to get good with it as you have to play with the sencitivity. Get it sensitive enough so that it it on that line where its ready to go off on just air but not quite then move in around lines. Its like one of those radio activity detectors, makes the same type noise. Its very nice, fairly cheap too.

It is nice but @ $175 I will stick with the uv crap. My fairly cheap is <$50 Thanks though.

I have layed it out for the chiller but not had time to braze anything up.

a few drops of dish washing soap with water in a spray bottle is all you need. just spray every where there is a braze joint and it will show up. the unit isn't that big where as you need uv dye,your just wasting money.

if the leak is really small this wont really work though. I mean we are talking very small. I had a few soapy water did not show but a leak detector did.

really? didint work for me, but the detector did.

did work, Leaking right were the flex and the copper meet. But the crack is in the flex so I don't have the heat to braze that I guess I look for a new flex line or make it copper tube all the way up. I don't know.

Got the time to get every thing out and ready, have to cut up the back of the case now for all the pieces. I will start a new thread for all that. Thanks to all of your for you help.
