    G.Skill DDR400 2-3-2-5 2GB ZX Test Report: OC sessions

    Hello guys,

Today I am showing you some OC sessions of the value RAM 2GB ZX that should be OC'ing pretty good.

The chips that are used is unknown to me, so don't ask

    ***F1-3200PHU2-2GB ZX***

    Flavor: 2x1GB and 1x1GB
    Rated speed 1: DDR400 2-3-2-5 2.6~2.75v
    Rated speed 2: n/a
    Chip: OEM IC
    PCB: B6U808 v1.1

    The modules...

    A closer look...

As you can see the default timings are 2-3-2-5 at a clockspeed of 400MHz DDR. The voltage range is 2.6 ~ 2.75v.
In this testreport I will use 2.8v as maximum voltage.

    Test system:

    3000+ Venice week 17
    DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI-D (bios 623 official)
    Tagan 480W-U22

    First some stock tests:

    DDR440:

    DDR500:

    DDR520:

    ************************************************** **

The average OC lies between 250-260MHz with timings 3-3-2-5.
Higher speeds can be achieved but it really depends on the modules and your luck. I do not recommend higher voltages then 2.8v for 24/7 use.

In CPU-Z you see HX, that is a mistake in the SPD. It must be ZX offcourse

Well, 250MHz 3-3-2-5 is a good average OC. Above that 260-270MHz you need some good modules todo it.

    Here 270Mhz = nogo at 3-3-2-5.

    i'm aware of that.

i saw your fellow tech from u.s. got them to 235 w/ 2.5-3-2 and another poster managed ~250 so i'm just interested about your experience with those timings.

I don't see any sign of trrd at 2....where do you see that?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that these are the CE-6s that aren't making the higher binnings (the gotta go somewhere).

I've got a set of these, not nearly as impressive as people made them sound to me. I can hit max 225 prime stable at 3-3-3-5 2.8v. Was hoping for 250 (which seems to be the low end oc from various threads I've seen).

If you were talking to me about the A64 screen shot. I'm running mem at 217 2.5-3-3-5 with a 150mhz divider, you can see the rest of my specs in the shot.

A friend of mine recently bought the same RAM because of my recommendation (price to performance is great at stock speeds). I'm tempted to sneak in and switch sticks to see if his are better overclockers. I know he'll never overclock

EDIT:Here's a link instead, directly showing the image skewed the forum tables. http://img114.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ntitled0pp.jpg

I could boot into win at 285 3-4-4-8 2T Could do a "large in-place FFT" Prime on them for about 30seconds without an error. but then the whole system just locks up.
