great card for the price... got one also........ basically you have an X850XT for less than the cost of a X850pro or X800XL..... have fun with the card..... I'm having a ball with mine.

here's what we have so far after opening up the 4 pipes and overclocking it..... You can't say anything bad about this card considering the cost.

I've had three PE X850's and none of them did 630Mhz stock, so yes he very much does, especially for a card starting out as a GTO.

Nice score, the GTO2 seems to be the best "value" card...man...nice chip for "ganga" price.

if that's really the clocks for a GTO2 you better keep it..... most of them don't go that high....

sure it's the real clock... i think this is the max for the core... even if i put 633 i got freeze in the 3dmark.
tomorrow i'll check out the max freq for the ram.

@ TEDY: please send it again...

Impressive result so far, particularly that core. I assume from your screenshots that you are artifact-free with the ATITool's checker- right? (I'm concerned because while mine oc's nicely with no visible problems, the checker will not go for more than a couple of seconds without detecting a problem even at stock speeds.)

Hey Princip, is that a PCI-E power connector on the upper right of the card? Doesn't look quite like it, but without external power I can't see how people are reaching >XTPE clocks from the R480 core.

    Yes, it's a regular 6-pin PCI-E power connector.

just thought if the card can be recognised as a x850 then pair it up with x850 master?

    just a thought..
