Would we need to wait 3 more months for these chips now? Insane!
I hope they release them early, or FCG/Wictor or other people get a steady supply of ES chips.

A Conroe 2.4GHZ stock, beats out a P4 at 6GHz or an AMD at 3.5GHz NICE! Can't wait to see some 3D or some mem-benches and some OC-results! Nice work!

    QFT= quit ing talking! hehe

I wouldn't mind seeing some 3dmark and dual 32M or something. Very impressive benchmarks Victor, congrats on being the first. 21.5s at 2.4 Ghz  i wonder what the 3.33 Ghz model will be like...

Yeah, I wouldn’t jump the gun on AMD or make those nasty remarks.
Hell, Intel owes it to AMD. If it wasn’t for AMD, you all would be sweating 60 pipelines P5,6,7 or P8 for another 2-3 years. I mean sweating.

I see the half of this thread saying amd am2 got owned?
may i ask where i already can buy this and can you give me proof of this?
I don't give a about amd getting pwned or not..
But so far nobody is getting pwned except the previous generation of cpu wich is already there for years..

you are telling me that the fx-62 is gonna beat this cpu?? look what would take to a s939 to get to 21s. do you really think that a fx-62 am2 is gonna be clocked at 3.5ghz+? and this isnt even top of the line conroe. So far amd has problems.

hey everybody , I've just try to make it run on ASUS P5WD2-P (955x)
    but failed.

I'll try P5WD2-E P and Intel 975xbx tomorrow if I have some time.

The CPU in hand for a long time but no mobo to run my baby untill today.

The mobo has no overclk function, I've tried several softwares but all failed

Now , the system aren't very stable 'cos there are still many bugs in the bios.

    will be solved somedays later.

    I'm shocked by Conroe, just 2.4Ghz with 256m*2 DDR2_533 4-4-4-12 can break 21s.
AMD ... all dead, and maybe the same words to Yonah

Let's waiting for Conroe/Meroms and more great 975x mobos with good OC features.

Time for us to break into 10sec now.

The real volt. for Conroe= 1.2v
and 965G cannot be recongnized by CPUZ 1.33.
    So I didn't post any mobo/ram info.
