    Is a D 930/940 faster then a 660/670 OC when gaming?

I am just wondering because I've been thinking about either upgrading to conroe which might be next year at this snails pace or get a 940 within the next few weeks when the price drops. But are they faster then the single core 660/670? when gaming? Do the 930/940 OC well, yielding better performance?

the 670 is a HOT cpu... on stock air 4.5/6Ghz would be max I think.

the 940 cpu clocks to about 4.3/4 I guess.. better in games..? maybe someone...

Depending on the game I guess. The high clocked singles are fast in some games but overall I think the dual core will be the best way to go, it will be more future proof then a single core CPU.

I think the Dual Core (65nm) will be overall better, after all they overclock pretty high. I'm going to make my move to dual core but for Q3 when the 960 takes a price dive in the low-mid-high $300s.

But I think between the 930 and 940, the 940 will be a much better choice.
