Right now IM running 1x2gb XP4000 at 3-4-3-8 timing @ 280Mhz with 1:1 divider to FSB which is 280 also. Im pretty satisfied with 3dmark scores in 05 but was wonering would I score higher If i lowered timings. I know its very cpu dependent. but with a 1:1 divider I can only get to 3080Mhz with my opteron, and by just changing divider to 9:10 it really slows down ram and doesn't help for increasing CPU FSB. what do you guys think, would I need different ram to get past 3080mhz? do I just need to change timings to pass it? or do you think my cpu is capped at 3080mhz stable, its an opteron 148.
