The last percent or two of test five I will see many errors yet I can loop 3DM06 all day long without issue. Overall though Im pretty happy with these sticks which cost much less then the OCZ EB and run fine at 271 at 2.7v and are gaming stable. They do run a little warmer then some but no where near what my Ballistix reached. Im going to use my Laser thermometer for checking spot temps during memtest to see if they are thermally breaking down after a few minutes. You can't beat the price compared to some of the other 2G sets going around. I think I might wait on the Bios change. I have tried memtest with a fan directly on my sticks and it made little difference.

See i had a massive difference with a 120mm fan on the sticks. All sticks different of course.

    My system would crash at 265mhz & restart under Prime.;

With a 120mm fan i can Prime stable at 275Mhz 3-4-3-5 for way over 8Hrs SOLID. I run them at 2.4v also.

Which bios do you suggest for a new Ultra - d and some new HZ

In the bios I enabled the .03v if not 3.2v switch and when I rebooted back to the bios I still can only move the Dram voltage by .10

Its on 2.6 so I have 2.7, 2.8, etcc ... Should Ultra -d's allow for +.03v if enabled?

I am a total noob at OC all the different componets, is there a guide you guys can suggest ...

When you enable that option, it doesnt allow for .03v adjustments, but add .03v.
So if you choose 2.7v add .03v so you have 2.73v instead of having to go all the way up to 2.8v.

too much voltage! 2.6v is good enough

and i always try to tell everyone, memtest86 is just a reference!
even for the speed bin in our lap, DDR500 guarantee products we use DDR520 to test it! memtest under windows + 32M + 3Dmark03 is good enough to ensure stable

This is my first Amd OC system. This is my first system I ever had the opputunity to OC at all

With out an image editor installed this is a pain in the rear ...

Anyways, I entered these settings at the start and there are no hicups at all. I have not touched any volts ... any

I did super PI mod too but I did not get the screen grab for the reason above

I would like some guidance to go higher. What do you suggest I set to go higher?

The only thing I might do is get a better fan that the stock heatsink fan for even better temperatures ... any suggestions

This is pretty much the max at stock volts or atleast the furthest I am going to take it without knowing what to try first to go from here. If I had better cooling I do not know what the limit for this cpu would be. And to think, i have another identical cpu in the retail box waiting to be used

To go higher I would need to loosen the timings, correct ... but which ones first? 2 T instead of 1 T? What about going down one more divider?

Is cpu vid control equal cpu vcore? If so, what should I set it to if I have to increase it? Whats the stock vcore on the 165, 1.35 ... I think the bios is set to auto

I did super mi mod too and it was fine ...
