My cpu seems to be the limiting factor on my set, with my Opty146 they would do around 275, but I had to switch back to my old venice 3000+, max is around 265 with it. I'm hoping to get rid of both these cpu's and get an new one sometime in the near future, I will see how they do then.

Do these get hot at 280? Do they need active cooling like the ballistix when its at 280?

No, quite cool and 2.5-2.6v seems to be all they need.

Newegg, for $217. Pretty good deal, especially if it hits 280.

For the price, these seem to be doing a lot better then the ZX's, theres only about £20 difference here in the UK, and since lots of the ZX kits aren't even hitting 240, HZ looks like the clear option.

I think 510-1 and 11/14 Bios are good for SLI-DR. I never try 510-1 FIX.

I recommend Dfi NF4 bios 702-1 or 704-1 for best overclock

I bought my ballistix for 275€ and they does 290mhz 3-3-3-8 at 2,7v for almost 2 month now.

And just tried at 2,6v today, without any issues at all.

Not much performance difference between twtr 1 or 2 tho.

Any truth to the reviewer on Newegg that this memory didn't work on DFI SLI-DR? Maybe he just got a bad stick?

I haven't seen any other mention of it and some of you using this memory have the SLI-DR.

I so close to pushing the order button.

Lots of these sticks worked for a few weeks then started degrading over the coruse of time. Mine lasted a little longer then a month before it wouldn't pass memtest at stock settings.
