I´ve seen here on XS another CABGE 144 @ 2.9ghz.
I think this stepping is good on 144 models....

I would really appreciate if you could tell me what you did to get this cpu to these clocks? I have the exact same stepping with batch 0028 and I only get 2700mhz primestable @ 1.7v and 2850mhz sp1m?

A64-tweaker ss would help, also info on your ambient, idle and load temps would help.

How does your cpu scale at low voltage? I can do prime @ 2490mhz 1.36v (according to cpu-z).

edit: Did you take of the IHS?

This is mine CABGE 0536 VPMW on modded Mach I. IHS still on.

With my ghetto watercooling does 2.8GHZ with 1.41V.

I'll be waiting Just removed my IHS but didn't get any better overclock even though it lowered my temps with 10 degrees with 1.7v @ load . What settings do you use for read preamble and max async latency?

Also, what bios do you use?

What were the ambient temps for that CABGE at 2.9, 1.4V?

Someone else had excellent clocks "under air"....what he didnt say straight away was that the mobo was sat under an aircon unit at -2......

It sure is a GABGE 0536VPMW, my best result so far is 312x9 1.66v primestable. This is with removed IHS and with 1.7v i can get to about 2850mhz. More volts than that do nothing

Why is that SPi time so bad? What timings did you use on your mem? Here's a run I did with a 3200+ Venice awhile back:

Any stability tests run? A SPI 1M is not exactly what I'd call stable...a 32m is sorta stable, but still nowhere near gauranteed to work. Good clocking though for CABBAGE POWA. 3dmark looped would be good...since imho, it's about as taxing as some Prime95 while stressing your other components.
