    More 2GB G.Skill HZ testing!

    I did some more testing with my G.Skill HZ today. I only cared about max screenshots, so with that goal in mind here is the test system:

    A64 3500+ Venice
    DFI LP NF4 Ultra-D (623-3 bios)
    2GB G.Skill pc4000 HZ 2.68v, dual-channel, crowded but actively cooled
    480watt Antec Neopower PSU

    I've never removed the heatspreaders, but my ram is from the batch that shipped with timings of 3-5-5-10.

    Here are the results:

    ddr510.1 @ 2.5-3-3-5 1T
    [img=http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/7492/ram4yj.th.jpg]

    ddr540.4 @ 3-3-3-5 1T
    [img=http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/4232/ram39xp.th.jpg]

    ddr587.4 @ 3-4-3-5 1T
    [img=http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/6025/ram46cw.th.jpg]

    ddr600.92 @ 3-4-4-8 1T

    Good testing man.

    Is this the same memory as you're testing here?

    one question why isn't there a completed set of SuperPi in any of those pics?

    I'm sure most people around here would also like to see some 32M SPi. If you can find the time,those results would make this thread a lot more interesting.

    Hes just saying that you can run spi before you clock the settings up and screen it. The probable reason for that would be its about to crash high5

    Yes

    I'll find the max pi 32M clocks for each timing and post the results whenever I get a chance.

    The memory can most likely go higher, but here was a quick test for 2.5-3-3-5 1T (2.68v) @ 491Mhz:

    More testing to come...

    True, I just wanted to see how far they could get on CL2.5.

    I'm running pi32M right now to find the highest speed for 3-4-3-5 1T.

    40 seconds to run a 1M SuperPi is pretty bad.

    Try trc=7, trfc=14, tref = 3684 or 4708 and see how far you can go. Probably the same, but much tighter timings.

    This is the best I can get from my sticks. They get unstable above 265 fsb even with the loosest settings.

    The best my sticks have done so far were 280mhz 3-4-4-8. My 3200+ was also running 2.8ghz with 280htt, but the result of that was a dead PSU like three days ago. I haven't really tried clocking that high since then, no real plans to until I snag a muuuch better PSU.
