Question about my 7800GTX and Rivatuner

Hi there,

I would like to know why the geometric domain graph in the hardware monitor of the Rivatuner shows higher clock frequencies than the shader or ROP domains.

What I would like to do, is to bring my GTX on the standard 430/1200 clock frequencies but it always goes to 450/1200 in the 3dmode and runs with 65°C. It used to run with 50 before...

What am I doing wrong? Or what should I know about the frequencies?

Thanks a lot. I thought it would be something like that, what wouldn't explain the sudden temperature difference I am observing... weird stuff.
