    Denny's G.Skill 2GBHZ Test result

just received G.Skill 2GBHZ from digi4me this morning
the good thing that live in So.Cal
Newegg, digi4me are all 1 day shipping XD
    but ... tax.......

    4hrs later i give u this result ^^

    DDR500~~
    THIS IS OC FORUMS

    DDR540 3-4-4-8 2.5v

i think there is np on that! 32M pass

    add some voltage into it
and tight the RAM setting to DDR540 3-3-3-8 2.6v

    oh man DDR540 3-3-3-8 32M pass

up the mhz a bit to DDR550 3-3-3-8

    the limit for 2.6V this DDR559 3-3-3-8 ops! i can't add, 278.5*2 = DDR557 not 559

for UCCC, this is really good
    G.Skill u did it again

    Good results !!

did you try to max out cas 2.5 ? just curious where it tops out.

If this is the norm for the G.Skill then they must be using a very different binning process than OCZ and Mushkin to be able to do 3-3-3-8 up to 275+

Pictures are good now, excellent results BTW. Have you tried going higher with more voltage? I've heard UCC usually maxes out at 270mhz regardless of volts (ocz, mushkin), but if G.skill is binning ram differently and with your pictures as proof then is it possible to get performance close to that of the ballistix with these puppies?

i did try higher voltage but it doesn't help!
    2.7v 2.8v or 2.9v can not go up to DDR560 3-4-4-8 either 3-3-3-8
but the price is about $40~50 lower then ballistix

do some more testing cuz if they are performing better, i would return my mushkin pc4000 2*1gb kit for a refund and get those instead since they are cheaper and looks like they perform better............more testing and more screenies please....

Heatspreaders on are off? Nice results. That is some really good 2gb sets. I suppose this was with your fx-57.

I've dealt with OPB personally on a RMA. Awesome customer service!

Guess2098..... how high can you take those sticks with cas at 2.5? This might be a good idea for my Neo2 Platinum.....
The little air system that could.

That depends. Some people get hooked up with good stuff others get textbook answers in riddles and are flamed upon when rising against G.skill tech support . I can tell you this, when it works G.skill is second to none , but getting to that level of performance nirvana may not be possible without a few tech support issues, I'm still struggling with these irrgularities myself. Still your mileage may vary and I form a very insignificant percentage of individuals with G.skill issues, perhaps It is bad chi. Good luck my friend.
