LOL @ Kunaak - Sorry bud if you had any problems No need to register .Originally Posted by Kunaak
Uhh correct me if I'm wrong, but wont he have a hard time taking WR for 2k3 and 2k5 with only watercooling on the card, no matter what platform he's on? Couldn't someone just get an overclock close to his then make up the rest by LN2'ing the card and kicking his card's ass?

That should be very exciting. I only wish someone was there to make a video. That would be a real treat.Originally Posted by k|ngp|n

I was asked to post this for a non-registered friend:
The card is good down to -55c and the scores he has posted so far that already take #1 in aquamark3 overall and #1 sinlge card in 2k3 by over 1000points will soon be out of reach of any AMD setup its funny.
noone will "EVER" match this dothan speed besides team japan and they dont bench 3d
HIGHEST CLOCK ON DOTHAN TO DATE BESIDES TEAM JAPAN AND KINGPIN IS 3400MHZ and this is done on cascade or ln2
hehe nice nice...
but believe me, we are not sleeping and will get the crown back to compressorcooling.com
nothing to say
wow.
an intel dothan & and a 7800, now that's a combinatin!!!

intel needs a chipset to support 479 / SLI like yesterday...
I couldn't even imagine how good it must feel to be running like that k|ng, props to you man
So true - Intel would be rollin in the dough with that set-up.Originally Posted by xxxAgentxxx
There are 2 different kinds of Dothans...
One is called 730/740/750/760/770
and the other is called 780
Every 780 I've seen does nearly 3gHz on AIR and 4 on LN2. A 780 and good singlephase would do 3500Mhz.
When I get mine I'll try the autocascade with it.

awesome results man im gettin my dothan setup here in about 2 days (as long as the shipping goes well). hopefully mine can be somewhat close to as good as your chip is
Do what you love, Love what you do.
Not everyone overclocks. Intel doesn't NEED crap, We WANT intel to give us these things. They actually wouldn't be very marketable for intel at all. Dothan's a monster, but it's not a very marketable monster because the retarded public will say "But that's a LAPTOP processor. And Laptops are SLOWER than desktops. I'm missing my reality show!" Our best hope is that Intel will make their new families based more off p3/dothan architecture than P4. It looks like they are moving in that direction in late 2006. So

I take it the PCI/PCI-E locks issue has been resolved? Any info on that?
Locks ain't working, but board remains stable as long as you keep this relation in mind when booting: MAX FSB stable=2,2*pci-e freq.
So if you aim for 250 FSB with clockgen, you must boot at a minimum pci-e freq of 114 to keep things stable. PATA disk is recommended if you aim at high FSB, ICH6 goes nuts above a certain point.
