Talking Santa Loves Me More =)

    Hehehehe,
I guess I was on better behavior than JTNav89GT this year
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=63582
    Me:
    (2) x2 4400's
    (2) x2 4600's
    (2) Opteron 270's
    (2) Opteron 275's
    (10) Opteron 848's
    (1) Very special FX - my personal cpu back from RMA
I'll post some pics and screenshots later.

*BTW, please nobody PM me asking if I'll sell any of these. If/when I do, I'll post them f/s. Not trying to sound like a , but if you do PM me or post trying to buy one of these, I promise you'll be last on the list. Just trying to avoid a bunch of junk in my mailbox *

Damn! No santa is that nice! I'm just jelous! Now let us see some pics! And please, please tell us more about the FX, you got me curious!
Just wundering, when the time comes if you should sell them, I've heard about a category where one can sell things on XS, but it's only available to those with more than 100posts, and I don't have thatmany,yet.. Is this where you willl be selling them ?

It's not what you think. Well it is, sorta....I'll explain later. The 848's were kinda unexpected, but I guess I could try to build one if I ever get enough money to afford the mobo

Maybe, but you've definately got some time to make 100 posts before I even think about selling

I would also like to see you build an 8-way opteron server! And the X2 4400+'s OC results is also interesting!
Do you have access to extreme cooling aswell s7e9h3n? You probably have since you're such a good friend of santa!

Well, I've got a mach2. It's seen better days, but it works Maybe I'll have PcIce whip up an Octo-headed cascade for running the 848's

Hell, even if I owned a 2-way board, I'd still test the x2's first.

Lol, you don't even want to know what I had to do with her to get these cpu's Yeah, it's a nice bunch but kinda creates a problem: Too many cpu's, too little time.

Can you just give us a basic idea of how you got them? A friend at AMD or something? Do you work for them?

Please, just give us a basic idea of how you got them. I am very interested.

If you want the boards to test the Opterons with...might try selling two of the 848s and the worse OCing 4400+ and 4600+.

I think you have more amazing AMD CPUs sitting in front of you than CPU's I've owned in my life....

Heck, what am I saying, I haven't even owned near 19 CPUs!

Santa sure was nice to you!

I've been through this already and all I'll say about it is that if you don't personally work for AMD or know somebody that does, you're not gonna be able to get cpu's like these unless you're a major oem or a testing partner. Sorry if I'm not going into specifics, but I really can't...........

    WANT INFO ABOUT THE FX!
What so special about it? Maybe FX-57, since you're not writing FX-55 ??
