you misunderstood me there lestat. I was talking about the dfi nf3 board i got. i figured it has x2 support most likely e6 too?

the DFI bios page doesnt tell you anything about the bios itself. i really dont know if it has it. I am no newb to flashing bios but im hearing major headaches about flashing this dfi board.

Im going to play the waiting game on flashing. hoping for a really nice bios and having the modders go at it before i try one.

my neo2 is running 1.a which i know has e6 official support.

Looks like this 0530 3000+ e6 i got is topping out at 2.70ghz. pretty much exactly like my 3200+ e3.

mind you i even gave 1.7v at 2.8ghz but was not stable.

hey lestat i just noticed we have the same moniter & video card. i have to say im in love with widescreen gaming.

Note: 2680mhz failed at that voltage. 1 week old chip. returned so no further testing on it.

    0530
    Athlon 64 3500+ Venice (ABA3500DAABW / LBBWE 0530DPMW)
    240x11=2640mhz
    Cpu-z reads=1.552volts
    Should be (under bios settings)=1.582volts
    Bios reads=1.57v
10hour prime 95 stable (Large FFTS)

Stepping and OC database isn't as important anymore because everyone knows how it is. Most of the new CPUs just suck but there's always some lucky ones that are pretty good. Doesn't seem to be any new week that does particularly good so few people are itnerested.

SP2M means its stable? we have very different ideas of "Stable"

Anyway looks pretty good, what are the temps with that cooling?

Que bien que pudiste mejorar tu OC Silincer .

It's Great that you were able to improve your OC silencer.

I read at H4G that it was 3x, all that's needed here are good mems and .

yeah but i have HORRIBLE backlight bleeding and its even a rev A1 or 1A the ones it was supposedly fixed on. plus i cant stand the friggin rolling lines in games and the only way to fix it is with vsync on which isnt always the best thing to do sometimes especially when hitting lower frame rates. Triple buffering can fix this but it seems that nvidia is retarded enough to have triple buffering as an option but you enable it and close the control panel and it just disables itself again.

    anyways
defiantely a nice 3200 you got there but i dont consider subzero cooling fair play. Air or water is fine cuz water typically isnt gunna get you below 30c.
reducing a cpu to -0 temps is just not playing fair. any cpu can go nuts like that. some go much higher than others but yours isnt THAT spectacular on subzero.

a bit of jealousy ? you damn right

Well, you can see the evap temp in the "G-froster control panel software"
You are right, I forgot to add a prime running in that pic, I will in the future.
About -16c in proc, -44c in evap running prime at 3250, I have to fine tuning this single stage, it is overcharged.

Hey, a lot of people with widescreens lately, I have a 2405 and it's great.

    god damn!

    i hate you people! lol

nasty OC's on those 3000's awesome!!

you outa hear the AMD tech's talk about these 3000's they love them and agree they are almost a totally different cpu when it comes to overclocking and compared to the 3200's and higher which typically arent overclocking nearly as good.

I just upgraded from a 3200 Winchester which could do 2550mhz to a 3500+ Venice LBBLE 0521CPGW, just to find out that it too tops @ 2550mhz!
    Not a single mhz more...
Is this normal for this stepping?
